HONOURS BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

Meet Mario, a UNF student pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. Inspired by his microbiologist mother at an early age, Mario's love for biology, chemistry, and genetics led him to the Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences (HBSc) at UNF. With hands-on learning, supportive professors, and engaging coursework, he’s building a strong foundation in life sciences while sharpening his communication and critical thinking skills.

Through UNF’s HBSc program and its Pre-Med Pathway to partner medical schools, Mario is confidently working toward his future in medicine. His story is a great reminder that it takes passion, dedication, and the right environment to thrive. Discover how UNF is helping students like Mario shape a better tomorrow.
