What is Riipen

Riipen is a work-based learning platform that helps post-secondary institutions connect students with industry partners, enhancing both student engagement and employability outcomes. University of Niagara Falls Canada uses this platform to offer curriculum-integrated industry projects, giving students the opportunity to gain experience from Riipen’s network of more than 44,000 businesses and non-profit organizations.

Steps to get started an employer

Step One

Sign up for Riipen

You can use this direct invitation link to join the UNF portal.

Step Two

Create your profiles

You’ll need to create both a personal and company profile for Riipen.

Create your first project

Join the UNF Riipen Portal

To get started, follow these steps:

1. Visit the UNF portal on Riipen.
2. Click "Get Started" and select "Join as Employer."
3. Create your company profile (this takes about 2–3 minutes).
4. Click on “Apply to portal” and answer a few questions. We will notify you once your application is reviewed.
5. Once approved, you can post your projects and begin collaborating with students.
