Through these projects, you will have the opportunity to partner with a community organization or industry leader to solve a particular problem. These projects can be completed individually or as part of a group. Several of our programs feature capstone projects, including Master of Management where students in the Emerging Technology stream complete a technology consulting study and those in the Entrepreneurship Stream develop a business plan. Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communications students organize and present a digital media strategy and plan that doubles as a portfolio of work for their capstone project.

Current challenges faced by society or business are brought into the classroom and you participate in an engage, investigate, act curriculum model, with new knowledge and skills gained through deep levels of engagement.

These are supervised and structured work experiences you can complete for academic credit. Our Master of Data Analytics program has an Advanced Analytics Internship aimed at providing students with consulting skills in a chosen speciality: marketing, operations, or general analytics.

These are short-term, practical experiences that put you in a relevant setting to their area of study. They may be completed as part of one of your courses or as an independent placement.

You get the opportunity to Integrate community service with classroom instruction and reflection to tackle a challenge identified by partners in the the community.

To enhance work-integrated learning opportunities, UNF has partnered with the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub. The business incubator and accelerator connects the city, not-for-profit groups, and businesses with students and faculty to generate new ideas and solutions to enhance the local economy and quality of life.
