Academic scholarships
Scholarship disbursement and eligibility
Academic scholarships are assessed based on a student’s academic performance in the previous term and are applied as a tuition credit to the subsequent term of study.
To be eligible for scholarship disbursement, students must:
· Be registered in a full-time course load for the term in which the award is applied
· Remain actively enrolled as a full-time student at the time of disbursement
Scholarship funding is only applied to future terms of study. As such, no scholarship or monetary award will be disbursed for academic performance achieved in a student’s final term, as there is no subsequent term in which to apply the award. However, academic achievements in the final term may still be formally recognized.
The total value of scholarships available to a student is dependent on program length and continued eligibility. For example, in a five-term program, a student may be eligible for up to four scholarship disbursements based on performance in the first four terms.
All awards are issued as tuition credits only and cannot be redeemed for cash or used for non-tuition expenses.
The following awards are based on a student's term performance and reviewed automatically during end of term processing.
