Evaluation Schedule

There are several delivery modes for final examinations

In-person
These exams are held on campus in rooms specified on the schedule, at the time listed.

Online timed – synchronous
These exams take place online and students start their exam at a scheduled time on the provided date.

Online timed – asynchronous
Students start this exam at any time within a specified date range but have a fixed duration to complete and submit it once they begin.

Online – untimed take-home
Students have a date range to work on the take-home exam without time restrictions. It must be submitted by the specified date and time.

Alternate evaluation
These evaluations are due in the evaluation period and are submitted through your Cascade course shell by the specified time and date.

In-person final presentation
These presentations are held on campus in rooms specified on the schedule, at the time listed.

Online final presentation
These presentations take place virtually within your Cascade course, at the date and time listed on the schedule.

Unless explicitly permitted by your instructor, electronic devices are not allowed during exams, except for those devices necessary to complete online exams.

Students must present their UNF Student ID during exams. A government-issued ID may be accepted if a student ID is unavailable.

While the Office of the Registrar strives to provide a conflict-free examination schedule for all students, conflicts may still arise. It is the responsibility of the student to notify their instructor(s) of any examination conflicts to allow an alternate date and/or time to be provided.
