Saba University School of Medicine
Saba University School of Medicine was founded in 1992 with a bold vision: to provide an international option for medical education that offers high-quality education, numerous career opportunities, and affordable tuition, as an alternative to U.S. and Canadian medical schools. The Saba University School of Medicine mission is to provide students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to acquire the medical and clinical expertise needed for a successful career as a practicing clinician, along with the skills and confidence needed to critically evaluate and apply new information. Saba University is accredited by the Netherlands, making it the only medical school in the Caribbean to hold European accreditation.
Partnership highlights
Through a partnership with Saba University School of Medicine (SUSOM), University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is now able to offer students studying in HBSc Biomedical Sciences degree program the option to elect a Pre-Med Pathway.
Via this pathway, UNF students in HBSc degree program have the opportunity to enter the MD program at SUSOM after their third year of undergraduate studies, having successfully completed 90 credits.
Then, after students successfully complete the first two semesters of the internationally accredited MD program, UNF will count the completed medical school coursework towards the final 30 credits remaining in their undergraduate program and award them their HBSc degree.
