Niagara Homestay and International Student Services

Niagara Homestay and International Student Services (NHISS) connects students with local homestay hosts to create home away from home for these students. For the past 15 years, NHISS has worked with over 200 hosts to give students an opportunity to immerse themselves in Canadian culture. Through this service, they also provide convenience for students who are not yet familiar with the local environment while encouraging cultural exchange and language immersion.

The University of Niagara Falls Canada is excited to partner with NHISS to place students with hosts to support their integration into the Niagara Falls community.

Land acknowledgement

University of Niagara Falls Canada acknowledges that the land we gather on is located on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Hatiwendaronk and Anishinaabe peoples. We also acknowledge the many other First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who call this region home.
