UNF invites the community for a day of fun and festivities taking place at UNF’s downtown campus and Centennial Square
University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) invites the community to come celebrate the season at this year’s Fall Festival Homecoming this week.
Taking place Thursday, Oct. 1 in Centennial Square, next to UNF’s downtown campus, UNF’s second annual Fall Festival is a free, family-friendly event that offers a perfect opportunity for the community to celebrate the autumn season while discovering more about the university and its connections to the City of Niagara Falls.
“We are delighted to once again be opening our doors to celebrate the fall season with the community,” says Sam Edgar, Associate Director of Student Experience at UNF. “It’s a great event where we get to come together, showcase our incredible campus, and have some fun for fall.”
The festival will run from 3 – 7 p.m. and offer a variety of activities to be enjoyed by all ages. DJ entertainment will provide the music while attendees grab a bite at our charity barbecue, complete with a dunk tank and visit from Spark, our beloved mascot.
Younger festival goers are invited to check out the Play Zone, a dedicated activity area featuring giant games, a sports yard, and an inflatable attraction. There will also be face painting and photo booths for everyone to enjoy and capture memories from the day.
Attendees will have the chance to explore UNF programs, services, student clubs, and campus community opportunities. The UNF Fall Festival is free and open to the public.
At the same time as the Fall Festival, UNF’s Alumni homecoming sponsored by CIBC and Belairdirect will take place from 4 - 6:30 p.m.
“We are so looking forward to welcoming back our UNF alumni and learning more about where our grads have landed since their time with us,” says Felicia Werner, Executive Director of Community and Alumni Engagement. “This event is such a great opportunity for our alumni to reconnect with the community.”
Celebrate the UNF community and meet current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and everyone that makes UNF special.
