The University of Niagara Falls Canada is proud to announce its new partnership with BioTalent Canada, a national organization at the forefront of building talent capacity in Canada’s bio-economy.
This strategic collaboration enhances the university’s engagement with the biosciences sector, connecting it to a robust national network of industry leaders, innovators, and employers.
“As an academic partner, we look forward to contributing to Canada's innovation ecosystem by supporting a strong, skilled workforce and fostering impactful collaborations between academia and industry,” said Rhianna Malcolm, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Projects with UNF.
Through this partnership, UNF will expand opportunities for industry-aligned training and work-integrated learning, as well as talent development. This ensures graduates are ready to meet the evolving needs of the bio-economy.
“The expanded potential for work placements and enhanced networking opportunities this partnership will provide our students is exciting,” said Janine Gray, Associate Dean of UNF’s Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences program. “It will also give them a deeper understanding of the professional landscape within biomedical sciences and the breadth of career options available to them. It will introduce them to prominent Canadian companies whose work may align with their career aspirations.” Partnerships like this are important to the university, especially when they connect students with industry leaders and real-world opportunities.
