University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) is looking to enhance educational experiences for students through a new partnership with an institution in Kazakhstan.
Exploring collaboration across areas of interest, UNF and the International Information Technology University (IITU) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This could include double degree programs, pathway articulation opportunities, or direct admission to UNF’s graduate programs for IITU undergraduate students in their final year of study.
The MoU was signed by UNF President Cyndi McLeod, CEO of Global University Systems Canada, and Issakhov Assylbek Abdiashimovich, Chairman of the Board-Rector at IITU.
Through the partnership, UNF has furthered its global reach and created new avenues for student success.
Founded in 2009, the International Information Technology University is equipping a new generation of information and communications technology specialists with knowledge of industry technologies, advanced management, economics, and communication skills. In 2019, it became the only university in Kazakhstan to receive international accreditation from the Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics (ASIIN) in Germany.
Located in downtown Niagara Falls, UNF is an innovative and digitally oriented institution that prepares its graduates for leadership in a digital world. The university’s academic programs are aligned to meet the demands of business and industry, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed now and in the future.
