For the second year in a row, University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) has received the award for Most Innovative Higher Education Institution 2026 – Ontario as part of Corporate Vision’s Education and Training Awards.
The recognition highlights UNF’s student-centred, future-focused approach to education.
Cutting-edge experiential learning that addresses real gaps in today’s work force, UNF’s programs focus on a digital mindset, hands-on learning, and strong industry connections that ensure students gain the skills and experience they need to succeed in their future careers.
“This recognition is a great achievement in what has been a milestone year for our school community,” says David Gray, President and Vice-Chancellor of UNF.
“Thanks to the dedication of our expert staff and the hard work of our amazing students, UNF celebrated our very first graduating class, and we are just getting started. Looking to 2027, we are getting ready to launch three new sustainability-focused programs that will build the leaders who can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.”
To serve its commitment to provide students with the most innovative and cutting-edge education, UNF is expanding its offerings in 2027 with three new, graduate programs: The Master of Regenerative Sustainability, Master of Sustainability Systems, and Master of Water and Food programs. Designed in direct response to urgent workforce and societal needs, each of these new UNF programs will focus on industry engagement, digital approach, and learning that connects students to the issues matter most.
