The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) and Sheridan College are proud to announce a new partnership designed to expand educational opportunities for students pursuing careers in health care and biomedical sciences.

Under a newly signed articulation agreement, graduates of Sheridan’s Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees certificate program are now eligible to transfer directly into UNF’s Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences program.

Through this agreement, Sheridan graduates may receive credit for up to 13 courses (39 credits) at UNF, significantly accelerating their path to degree completion.

“This is more than a credit transfer – it’s a springboard for the next generation of health care leaders,” said Janine Gray, Associate Dean of the Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences program at UNF. “We’re proud to partner with Sheridan to give students a clear, supported pathway from college to university and into careers that make a real difference.”

“The Pre-Health Sciences Pathway certificate has become an essential part of our curriculum in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sheridan,” said Morgan Dennis, Associate Dean of the program. “We are thrilled to be working with UNF and to be providing this opportunity for our students and their futures.”

This partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to advancing postsecondary pathways that are efficient, student-centered, and aligned with Ontario’s evolving workforce needs.
