Campus closes at noon on Dec. 24, reopens Jan. 2
With final evaluations over and marks coming in for the Fall Term, the University of Niagara Falls Canada campus is winding down for its annual holiday break.
The campus and administrative offices will close at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and remain closed until the new year. UNF will reopen and resume regular operations on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026.
During the holiday break, both residence offices in UNF Managed Residences will also be closed. For students remaining in residence over the break, Residence Life staff will be available on call for emergencies.
Students starting their first term at UNF will be welcomed to campus for New Student Orientation (NSO) from Jan. 6 to 9.
NSO is a time for new students to get know the campus, their program’s faculty members, and fellow incoming classmates.
Featured events include an introduction to student services available on campus, graduate and undergraduate orientation sessions, faculty meet and greets, and social activities both on and off campus.
The first day of classes for the Winter Term is Monday, Jan. 12.
