A new international partnership with Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) will create enhanced opportunities for students to continue their education at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.

Through the partnership, students who have completed IIT’s Foundation Program in business or computing will be eligible to transfer up to 12 academic credits toward four courses in UNF’s Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

The collaboration between the two institutions is designed to facilitate academic progression, minimize curriculum duplication, and ease the transition for learners pursuing studies across international borders.

The agreement was signed by David Gray, President and Vice-Chancellor of UNF, and Hiran Wickramasinghe, Group Managing Director of IIT.

“We are proud to partner with institutions that share our vision of creating opportunities for students to reach their full potential,” said Gray. “This agreement reflects our dedication to making higher education more accessible for students around the world.”

The partnership marks another step in UNF’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international connections and provide global learners with clear, supportive pathways to advance their education and achieve their long-term goals.

Located in Sri Lanaka, IIT is a private higher education institute that offers specialized offshore British degree programs in IT and business. Founded in 1990, IIT now educates thousands of students and has built a strong reputation for academic excellence and innovation.
