Steve Araba brings over a decade of diverse experience spanning academia, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships. Prior to UNF, Steve was a professor at Algoma University and Sault College, where he taught and mentored students in global business management and economics.

With a PhD in business administration from Unicaf University, a master’s in public management, and a bachelor’s in computer science from Babcock University, he brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and business acumen to our institution. Steve has also received the PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.

Steve’s professional journey includes significant contributions as a local immigration partnership coordinator for the City of Sault Ste. Marie and as an innovation accelerator program specialist at the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre.

His passion for entrepreneurial education is evident in his research and publications, including work on reducing unemployment through entrepreneurship.

When not at work, Steve is actively involved in community development initiatives and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs. His commitment to creating social impact through education and business aligns perfectly with our institutional values.
