Mir Ahasan Kabir
Mir Ahasan Kabir is an accomplished educator and researcher with over fourteen years of experience in higher education. Currently a lecturer in the Master of Management program at the University of Niagara Falls Canada, he brings a rich academic background that bridges economics, finance, data analytics, and technology-driven business education.
His teaching portfolio includes graduate-level courses such as Finance for Managers, Data Analytics for Managers, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, and User Experience Design, where he translates complex theoretical concepts into practical, actionable knowledge for aspiring leaders.
Mir’s scholarly expertise spans economics, finance, statistics, and business technology, with a research focus on empirical microeconomics, international trade, labour markets, and migration. His doctoral work investigated migration motives and remittance behaviour in Bangladesh, contributing to a deeper understanding of household decision-making in emerging economies.
