M. Reza Behboudi

Dr. M. Reza Behboudi is a scholar, educator, and leader with more than 25 years of experience in higher education and industry across Canada and internationally. He is currently a sessional instructor at the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF), where he teaches graduate courses in management, research, analytics, and technology implementation. He previously served as a Visiting Professor/Scholar at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research, Lakehead University

Dr. Behboudi earned his PhD in Business from the Australian National University (ANU), where he also taught and conducted research. Before relocating to Canada, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Hormozgan, where he held several academic leadership roles, including Department Head, General Research and Technology Manager, and Representative of the President on key academic and promotion committees.

His teaching and research focus on management, information systems, leadership, digital transformation, emerging technologies, knowledge management, entrepreneurship, and organizational effectiveness. He has secured multiple research grants and industry-funded projects, has extensive experience supervising graduate theses, and published in areas related to technology adoption, innovation, performance evaluation, and organizational studies.

Dr. Behboudi’s teaching is informed by a strong combination of academic scholarship, applied research, and consulting and operational experience across retail, public, private, and entrepreneurial settings.
