Abdul Munam

Abdul Munam is an associate professor and research scientist with more than two decades of international experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His expertise spans polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, petroleum chemistry, general and applied chemical sciences, with a strong record of curriculum development and student mentorship.

He holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Polymer Chemistry from Carleton University. Before joining the University of Niagara Falls Canada, Abdul served as Associate Professor of Chemistry at Sultan Qaboos University and as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo.

His research focuses on advanced polymer synthesis, eco-sustainable composites, and functional materials, with applications in biomedical, environmental, and industrial domains. He has supervised graduate and doctoral students, published extensively in leading journals, and contributed to international collaborations bridging academia and industry.

Abdul has received awards for excellence in teaching and learning and has delivered keynote and invited talks at global conferences.
