CAMPUS NEWSUniversity of Niagara Falls Canada campus closed, in-person classes cancelled due to inclement weather
Campus will be closed today, expected to reopen Jan. 16
Please be advised that, due to inclement weather, the University of Niagara Falls Canada campus is closed and in-person classes and activities are cancelled today, Thursday, Jan. 15.
This decision was made with student and employee safety in mind. It is imperative that UNF can operate the campus safely and that includes the ability for everyone to get to and from campus in a safe manner.
Heavy snow has made weather conditions unsafe for travel in Niagara Falls and other parts of the region.
While employees will work remotely, in-person classes and activities on campus have been cancelled. Students should check Cascade for updates from their professors.
The campus is expected to reopen tomorrow, Jan. 16, and classes will resume at that time. The university will continue to monitor conditions, and any updates will be shared through the website, email, and official social media channels.
